1. Festival Hours are Friday 2 P.M. to Midnight, and Saturday Noon to Midnight, vendors must be open for business from start of festival each day to the end of the festival each night. This is an outdoor show. There will be no early tear down due to inclement weather. Early teardown will result in not being invited to return next year. To ensure the safety of customers and attendees no cars will be allowed into the event area from Friday at Noon until Sunday at 7 A.M. Vendors will be allowed to drive their vehicles up to their booths during set-up and breakdown times ONLY. At all other times, vehicles must remain in designated parking areas. VENDORS MAY NOT PARK THEIR CARS BY THEIR BOOTHS. Handicapped vendors may use the designated handicapped parking area only if their cars are properly marked with handicapped identification.
2. Booth size is 10 ft. x 10 ft.; you cannot extend beyond your assigned space(s). Weighted anchors are REQUIRED.
3. THE USE OF GAS GENERATORS ARE NOT ALLOWED AT THIS SHOW. ELECTRICITY IS NOT AVAILABLE. Battery powered generators are permitted.
4. Exhibitors will provide their own weighted canopies, tables, chairs, and all items necessary for their business. Table coverings are required in the Craft Market area and must completely cover the tables and extend to the ground. Chairs and Tables are available for an additional fee, availability is limited.
5. Porta-Johns are located nearby. There are limited hand-washing facilities.
6. Vendors of like items will be limited based on the market size. If you bring items to sell that have not been approved, you may be asked to remove them. ABSOLUTELY NO TOY OR REAL WEAPONS (INCLUDING MARSHMALLOW GUNS).
7. All booths are assigned by the Electric Circus Committee. You may not change booth spaces with another vendor. No “walk around “sales are allowed. All booths must be removed by midnight Sunday.
8. We require all our exhibitors to carry liability insurance. A certificate naming the Elf Khurafeh Shrine Center as additional insured up to $1 million must be provided.
9. A $10 application fee is due with each application at the time of submission and is non-refundable. Checks or Credit card charges will not be processed until the vendor is accepted into the show. Once payment is made, NO REFUNDS for cancellation by the vendor will be issued. Payment for booth is non-transferable.
10. Uniformed security will be provided overnight at the festival site. However, displays left overnight are done at the vendor's own risk.
11. Trash receptacles located throughout the show are for the convenience of the attendees and may not be brought into booths. Please be respectful and help us always keep the market clean and safe. There are dumpsters located around the festival grounds for vendor use, please locate the nearest one to your location.
12. All food vendors must provide a valid health department permit. A copy of the permit must be provided to the Electric Circus Festival. Vendor Booth/ Food Truck will be inspected by an inspector from the Genesee County Health Department prior to the event, Vendors are Required to properly display their licenses at their booths. All fire codes, laws, ordinances, and regulations shall be strictly observed. Vendors shut down by an inspector will not be refunded. Failure to supply a health department permit may lead to termination without refund.
13. All food vendors must provide a menu with pricing, food pictures (if available), photos of Booth/ Food Truck. Food items should be limited to what is displayed on the menu.
14. All cooking surfaces must be located out of reach of public.
15. Vendors will keep their surround areas clean and free of litter. All inventory, and boxes must be contained inside the booth or trailer.
16. Vendors must immediately notify the Electric Circus Staff of any injuries or accidents to persons or property during the event, by calling 810-243-3781 and emailing edm@ekshrine.com.
17. The Elf Khurafeh Shrine Center “Electric Circus” and its sponsors, members, and participants assume no liability for loss or damage to a vendor’s wares or property. The vendor hearby waives any claim for loss or damage to his/her property.
18. The Electric Circus may at anytime cancel rights granted to the vendors if the vendor breaches this agreement or fails to abide by the rules and regulations instituted by the Electric Circus. This included revoking the ability to set-up, expulsion from the festival, and no refund of vendor fees.
19. Vendor agreed that this agreement is not transferable and may not be assigned to another party.
20. Vendor furthers agrees that they will comply with all the laws, rules, regulations, and ordinances al all govement agencies, and all other authorities having jurisdiction in this event.
21. Vendors shall pay sales taxes, or any other tax required by the city, state, or federal taxing authority.
